How to stake ADA in Daedalus wallet
Daedalus is a Cardano desktop wallet that runs a full node, so it downloads and checks the whole blockchain before it shows your balance.
Daedalus is a desktop full-node wallet. Official site: daedaluswallet.io. VoltPool is not affiliated with Daedalus.
Steps
- 1Get Daedalus only from the official site (daedaluswallet.io). It is a desktop app for Windows, macOS and Linux.
- 2Let Daedalus finish syncing with the Cardano network. This can take a while on a first run and needs free disk space.
- 3Create or restore your wallet. Keep the recovery phrase offline and never share it.
- 4Make sure the wallet holds ADA. The network charges a small transaction fee, and the wallet takes a refundable staking-key deposit the first time you delegate.
- 5Open Staking, then the Delegation Center, and search the stake pool list for VOLT.
- 6Check the pool ID against the official ID on this page, choose to delegate, and confirm with your spending password.
Menu names can differ between wallet versions. If a label here does not match your screen, follow the wallet's own staking prompts.

Delegating does not send or lock your ADA, and VoltPool never asks you to send ADA. Rewards are set by the Cardano protocol and are not guaranteed. This page is general information, not financial advice. See the staking FAQ and the full delegation guide.
